Invitation to the webinar “DIN ISO 22361 and its significance for the insurability of cyber risks”

Dear Sirs, Dear Madams,

The standard will have a significant influence on the design of crisis management systems. The standard will have a significant influence on the design of crisis management systems. This has laid a valid foundation for the further development of crisis management on the basis of an ISO standard.

The main contents of the new ISO 22361 include in particular the “Description of the crisis management process” (chapter 5), “Personal requirements for leadership skills” (chapter 6) and the “Requirements for strategic decision-making” (chapter 7). In my view, ISO 22361 will fill the requirements for a methodological framework concept for crisis management with content and thus set the necessary “guard rails”, especially for companies that operate internationally.

The new ISO standard is of particular practical importance when it comes to the insurability of ransomware attacks. The quality of existing crisis management plays a major role in the requirements of industrial insurers who offer corresponding policies. This quality can be verified by auditing in accordance with ISO 22361. We have developed our own test procedure for auditing an existing crisis management system and applied it in practice. You can find out more details on this important point in our free webinar on July 26 at 5:00 pm.

At our full-day compact course on crisis management according to ISO 22361 on August 22, 2023, you will receive further information.

I will be happy to answer any questions you may have on this subject.
Best regards
Klaus Bockslaff
